Lakie Gunnels

Lakie Gunnels is a skilled Physical Therapist with extensive experience in school-based and pediatric rehabilitative care, currently serving at North Kansas City Schools and Ability KC since June and May 2022, respectively. Additional roles include Assistant Dance Team Coach at Liberty High School, Personal Care Assistant for a child with cerebral palsy at Direct Care Innovations, and Instructor at SpiritWorks Cheer and Dance. Previous experience includes substitute teaching and working as a Physical Therapy Technician at College Park Family Care Center. Lakie holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from William Jewell College.
