Alicia Kaestli

Alicia Kaestli is a distinguished professional in the biotechnology sector with a rich background in machine learning and biology. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at Flagship Pioneering since June 2021, Alicia focuses on venture creation by collaborating with entrepreneurial scientists to build innovative biotechnology platform companies. In addition, Alicia is part of the founding team at Abiologics, Inc., dedicated to enhancing biology through chemistry. Previous experience includes roles in strategy and operations at Metaphore Biotechnologies, where Alicia contributed to harnessing biomimicry and machine learning for therapeutic development, and as a Senior Data Scientist at Amgen, leading data science initiatives across the organization.
