Ashish Parikh, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the medical and research field. Ashish began their career in 2005 as a Biomedical Engineer at Lilavati Hospital and Research Center. From 2007 to 2008, they served as a Research Assistant in the Cardiovascular Division at Gene Network Science Inc.
In 2009, Ashish joined the American Heart Association as an AHA Predoctoral fellow, a position they held until 2011. Ashish then joined Medtronic in 2012 as a Clinical Specialist in the Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure (CRHF) division. In this role, they provided training and support to customers and partners and oversaw clinical research data collection and protocol compliance. In 2016, they were promoted to the position of Principal Field Clinical Engineer, where they independently managed relationships, facilitated research center qualification, and collaborated with cross-functional partners.
Currently, Ashish is working at Abiomed as a Principal Clinical Research Scientist, a position they started in June 2023. Details about their responsibilities in this role are not provided.
Ashish Parikh, Ph.D. obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University between 2006 and 2007. Subsequently, they pursued a Ph.D. in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh from 2008 to 2012.
