Christopher Koppel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and engineering roles. Currently serving as Associate Director of the Impella ECP™ Platform at Abiomed since August 2014, Koppel oversees a Post Market program comprising 20 professionals and has achieved significant cost reductions and employee engagement recognition. Prior to Abiomed, Koppel served in the US Army as an Executive Officer and Fire Support Officer, leading teams in administrative, logistical, and operational capacities. Koppel began his career as a Process Improvement Intern at Solardelphia and holds a Master’s of Engineering Management and a combined Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Environmental Engineering from Dartmouth College.
