Colin Oftring

Colin Oftring serves as the Director of US Production at Abiomed since May 2023, after holding several key leadership positions at GE Aerospace and GE Aviation from 2011 to 2023. At GE Aerospace, Colin was responsible for the manufacturing operations of jet engine combustors, managing a workforce of over 200 employees and generating significant shop-cost output. Earlier roles involved overseeing large engine and production operations, where Colin successfully met safety, cost, quality, and delivery targets for various aviation products. Prior experience includes positions as a Transportation Coordinator at International Forest Products Corp. and Depot Manager at Pepperidge Farm. Colin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from Northeastern University.
