Emily Heil

Emily Heil is a skilled Product Development Engineer with extensive experience at Abiomed, where responsibilities have included leading design verification testing for the Impella RP Flex and developing innovative bench tests for material characterization. With a strong foundation in engineering principles, gained through a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, Emily has held multiple leadership roles within the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Northeastern chapter, including President and Vice President of Workshops. Previous co-op positions at companies such as SharkNinja and Amphenol PCD have further developed Emily's expertise in product design, development, and engineering processes.
