Jessica Kirk

Jessica Kirk is a seasoned professional in microbiological quality and sterility assurance, currently serving as the Microbiological Quality and Sterility Assurance Manager for Abiomed since September 2023. Prior to this role, Jessica held various positions at DePuy Synthes, including Sterility Assurance Supervisor and Senior Scientist from February 2018 to October 2023. Jessica's academic background includes a PhD in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine from the University of Leeds, where research focused on the mechanical properties of matrices in spinal cord injury regeneration. Additional experiences include a research secondment in cardiovascular surgery at Universidad Favaloro, as well as research and development roles at Reckitt Benckiser, contributing to product innovation and clinical trials in the healthcare sector. Jessica holds a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from The University of Sheffield.
