Mariah Hout

Mariah Hout currently serves as Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs at Abiomed since July 2022, having previously held the role of Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Manager of Devices and Combination Products at Bristol Myers Squibb from September 2021 to July 2022 and a lengthy tenure at Abiomed from April 2007 to September 2021, where Mariah progressed from Regulatory Affairs Manager to Senior Manager. Earlier roles include Development Bioengineer at RenaMed Biologics and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine, focusing on bioengineering applications. Mariah has an extensive background in the intersection of biomedical engineering and regulatory affairs, strengthened by a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
