Melissa Barnes

Melissa Barnes is an advanced surgical consultant at Abiomed, a position held since May 2023, following a tenure as therapy development manager - hybrid at AtriCure, Inc. from October 2022 to May 2023. Previously, Melissa managed MCS and structural heart programs at Sharp HealthCare between March 2021 and August 2022, and served as a senior clinical consultant at Abbott from January 2012 to March 2021, where responsibilities included supporting clinical teams to improve patient outcomes. Early career experience includes nursing at Barnes-Jewish Hospital from November 2006 to January 2012.
