Meriel Sanchez-Cordero

Meriel Sanchez-Cordero has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Meriel began their career in 2001 as a Critical Care Registered Nurse at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and worked there until 2012. Meriel then joined Bayer HealthCare Diabetes Care as an Account Manager from 2005 to 2008. Following this, Meriel worked as a Clinical Education Specialist at Siemens Healthcare from 2008 to 2009. Meriel then transitioned to Instrumentation Laboratory, A Werfen Company, where they held the positions of Product Specialist from 2010 to 2012 and Worldwide Product Manager from 2012 to 2015. Meriel further expanded their career in the healthcare industry by joining Edwards Lifesciences in 2017. Meriel held various roles at Edwards Lifesciences, including Senior Account Manager from 2017 to 2018, Clinical Field Specialist from 2018 to 2019, Hemodynamic Platform Specialist from 2020 to 2021, and Senior Marketing Manager from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Meriel is working at Abiomed, starting as a Senior Global Marketing Manager in 2023 and currently serving as an Associate Director of Global Marketing since 2024.

Meriel Sanchez-Cordero earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Glasgow Caledonian University between 1997 and 2001. Meriel completed their high school education at Lenzie Academy from 1992 to 1998. In the future, they plan to pursue a marketing education at Harvard Business School Executive Education. Meriel also obtained a certification as a Registered General Nurse from The Nursing and Midwifery Council in September 2001.
