Paula McDonald

Paula McDonald currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for EMEA & APAC at Abiomed, a position held since October 2012, and has previously held roles including Finance Director for Europe and European Finance Operations Director within the same company. Prior to Abiomed, Paula McDonald was with Hologic (formerly Cytyc Corp) from 2001 to 2008, where responsibilities included directing finance and FP&A activities for seven EAME subsidiaries and managing a team of up to 20 people. Earlier experience includes positions at CNH as Pricing Manager for Europe AG and Project Manager in Finance, as well as Finance Controller roles at Fermec UK from March 1993 to September 1997. Paula McDonald holds a BA Joint Honours degree in Accounting and Finance & French from Lancaster University and has further education from ESCP Business School.
