Weon-Kyoo You

Weon-Kyoo You is an accomplished researcher and executive in the biopharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in cancer therapeutic development. Currently serving as the R&D Head and Executive Vice President at ABL Bio, Inc. since March 2016, Weon-Kyoo has previously held positions including Principal Research Scientist at Hanwha Chemical Bio R&D Center and Senior Research Scientist at BioBud. Throughout the career, Weon-Kyoo has led projects that resulted in multiple patented innovations and significant advancements in therapeutic antibody development, including nonclinical studies and large-scale production processes. With a strong educational background, including a PhD in Biochemistry from Yonsei University, Weon-Kyoo has contributed to numerous publications and played key roles in multiple research endeavors across prestigious institutions and companies.
