Josh Hathaway has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Josh started their career at Lockheed Martin in 2009 as an Engineering LDP Associate, where they participated in a rotational program to develop technical and leadership skills. After completing the program, they joined SpaceX in 2010 and worked as a Senior GNC Engineer. Their responsibilities included trajectory design, precision entry/landing analysis, and GNC algorithm development for the Falcon 9 rockets. Josh also played a key role in the development and testing of various sensors for the Dragon spacecraft and Falcon 9 launch vehicle. In 2020, Hathaway joined ABL Space Systems, initially serving as the Head of GNC before being promoted to Director and then Senior Director of GNC and Flight Sciences. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Engineering at ABL Space Systems.
Josh Hathaway received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 2009. Josh then pursued a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Flight Mechanics and Controls from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing it in 2012.
