Gwen Short

Gwen Short is a Staff Attorney at Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc., focusing on Agricultural Worker and Immigrant Rights since January 2023. Previously, Gwen Short served as a Law Clerk to Scott Wilson Badenoch, Jr., addressing Environmental Justice issues for a Southern California community impacted by industrial pollution. Academic experience includes a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where Gwen Short worked as a Research Assistant for Dean Carlarne in Environmental Law and engaged in various legal internships and externships, including impactful roles at Earthjustice and the National Wildlife Federation. Gwen Short also holds a Bachelor of Science in Outdoor Recreation and Education from Ohio University.
