Lauren Sommer

Lauren Sommer, MBA, SPHR, currently serves as the Senior Director of Human Resources at AbleNet, Inc. since July 2023. Prior to this role, Lauren held various HR positions at STERIS from September 2018 to July 2023, including HR Manager, where responsibilities encompassed executing talent and engagement strategies. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior HR Generalist at Key Surgical and as an HR Generalist at SPIRE Credit Union, providing comprehensive HR support and consulting on employee relations and talent development. Lauren began the HR career as an HR Representative at SharePoint Credit Union. Academic qualifications include an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Transformational Change & Organization Development from the University of St. Thomas, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Metro State University.
