Matthieu Petitmangin

Matthieu Petitmangin is an experienced professional in the music and sound production industry, currently serving in dual roles at Ableton since 2016, focusing on sales, tech support, and artist support, while also operating as the owner of Safeword Records since 2020. Formerly a label manager at Lemon Test from 2017 to 2020, Matthieu showcased electronic music from an international community. Previous positions include junior label manager at Beatport and extensive freelance work as a sound engineer and music producer at MGFP Music Production, where services ranged from recording to sound design. Matthieu also worked as a sales assistant at adidas group and a sound engineer/producer at Bauer Studios GmbH. Educationally, Matthieu holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Music Technology and Management from the University of Staffordshire and a Baccalauréat from École Européenne de Karlsruhe. Notable achievements include handling speech production for Klett Verlag and co-founding the Pop/Rock label Plow Sound.
