Matthew Hammond

Matthew Hammond is a Staff Site Reliability Engineer at Ably. Prior to this role, Matthew worked at Sky as a Principal Engineer and later as a Lead DevOps Engineer and DevOps Engineer. Before their time at Sky, Matthew was the Applications Development Team Manager at The University of Edinburgh, where Matthew also held positions as a Senior e-Learning Developer and e-Learning Developer. Prior to that, Matthew worked at Stevenson College Edinburgh as a Web Systems Support Officer and Information Systems Support Officer. Matthew holds a MA in Documentary Photography from the University of Wales, Newport, and a BA (Hons) in Photography, Film, and Imaging from Edinburgh Napier University.
