Cmgr Fcmi Susan Mason

Susan Mason has strong experience in various leadership roles within the IT and procurement fields. Susan most recently served as the Director of UK IT Operations at ABM UK, where they managed and oversaw IT operations in the country. Prior to that, they were a Programme Manager for UK IT at ABM UK.

Before joining ABM UK, Susan worked as the Head of Procurement at Fitness First UK, where they led procurement activities. Susan also served as the Purchasing Manager at TestLink Services Ltd.

Earlier in their career, Susan gained valuable experience as the European Asset Manager at Future Electronics.

Susan Mason, CMgr FCMI, has a diverse education history with a focus on business management and data protection. In 1998, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of South Wales. From 2012 to 2016, they pursued a degree in Procurement & Supply from CORDIE- New Forest, Chartered Institute for Procurement & Supply. In 2017, they furthered their knowledge in project management by obtaining a Prince2 Practitioner certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

Continuing their education, Susan completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Leadership from The Open University between 2020 and 2022. Susan also acquired several data protection certifications, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation Foundation and Practitioner certifications from GASQ in November 2018. In February 2019, they obtained the Certified Data Protection Officer certification from GASQ.

In 2023, Susan attended the IAPP and obtained a Privacy Program Management, CIPM certification, as well as a European Data Protection- CIPP/E certification from the same institution. Additionally, in March 2023, they became a Chartered Manager and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI).
