Niels Spieker

Niels Spieker, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with substantial expertise in structured finance and securitisation. Currently serving as Senior Director at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. since June 2021, Niels focuses on securitisation lending, including warehousing and asset-backed securities (ABS). Prior to this role, Niels spent nearly eight years at ING, where responsibilities included structuring public and private securitisation transactions and engaging in balance sheet distribution activities. Niels began his career at Rabobank International, progressing from a Corporate Management Trainee to a Credit Analyst specializing in acquisition finance. Niels holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a Bachelor's Degree in Technology Management, both from the University of Groningen, supplemented by a CFA credential.
