Rob Atwood, ITIL Expert, Lean IT, TOGAF

Rob Atwood has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Rob currently holds the position of Director of Information Technology at ABNB Federal Credit Union since June 2019. Prior to this, they worked at the City of Virginia Beach for many years, starting in June 2000 as an Information Systems Coordinator. In this role, they provided leadership and managed a team of 58 staff and consultants, overseeing an annual budget of 8 million dollars. Rob'sresponsibilities included managing all service call support, operational support, and lifecycle maintenance for various IT systems and infrastructure components. Rob also played a key role in the Technology Infrastructure Replacement Capital Improvement Program to ensure efficient allocation of funds for infrastructure management.

Rob Atwood received their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Prior to that, they attended Great Bridge High School from 1978 to 1982, but did not pursue a specific degree or field of study.

In addition to their formal education, Rob has obtained several certifications in the field of IT and process improvement. Rob holds a LEAN Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification, obtained from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification in June 2016. Additionally, they have obtained the Lean IT Foundation certification from the Lean IT Association and the TOGAF 9 Certified and TOGAF 9 Foundation certifications from The Open Group.
