Carly Gottorff

Carly Gottorff is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in both leadership and technical roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Data Scientist at Abnormal Security since May 2022, Carly previously founded and led Southeast Bayesian LTD, a data science consulting firm, while also holding the title of Data Science Lead at SpeechifAI Inc., where expertise in AI development was applied to enhance social media campaign management. Prior experience includes work as a Data Scientist at Astroscreen, focusing on machine learning for fake news detection, and as a Hunger Relief Coordinator with United Way of Palm Beach County, utilizing spatial data analytics for community initiatives. Carly's academic background includes a Master of Science in Applied Social Data Science from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree with Summa Cum Laude honors from the University at Buffalo in Applied Statistics, Political Science, and International Economics.
