Patrick Kurkiewicz

Patrick Kurkiewicz has held various roles in the data science, engineering, and medical fields since 2008. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Haarstad Engineering Services and a Device Design Co-op at Closure Medical. Patrick also held a Validation Intern role at Mentor Biologics during this time. From 2010 to 2014, Patrick worked as a Field Engineer at Shared Medical Services and an Actuary at Humana. During this same period, they worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota. In 2021, Patrick began working as a Product Strategy Lead & Data Scientist at Prognos Health. Patrick is currently employed as a Data Science Manager at Gradient AI, a role they have held since 2022.

Patrick Kurkiewicz obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. In 2012, they earned their Master's Degree in Biostatistics from the University of Minnesota. In 2017, they obtained their MAAA from the American Academy of Actuaries, and their Certified Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) from the Society of Actuaries. In 2018, they became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA).
