Darren Linden

Darren Linden has extensive experience in IT and customer success roles. Darren is currently working as the Director of IT at Abnormal Security since August 2022, where they oversee IT operations. Prior to this, Darren served as a Sr. Customer Success Manager at the same company from January 2022 to July 2022.

Before joining Abnormal Security, Darren worked at Okta, Inc. as a Principal Customer Success Executive from January 2020 to January 2022. In this role, they managed customer success activities.

Earlier in their career, Darren held various positions at Alliance Data. From March 2016 to December 2019, they served as the Senior Director and Head of Corporate IT, where they led the transformation of the corporate technology environment and directed architecture and infrastructure functions. Darren successfully implemented a cloud transformation initiative to AWS, significantly reducing the data center footprint.

Prior to Alliance Data, Darren worked at Flowserve Corporation. From 2014 to 2016, they served as the Corporate Senior Director of Global IT Operations, overseeing network, data centers, information security, and disaster recovery. Darren also held roles as the Corporate Senior Director of Unified Communications and Corporate Senior IT Architect at Flowserve, where they led various technology initiatives to optimize operations and reduce costs.

Darren's earlier experience includes working as a Strategic Solutions Architect at Imagine Solutions and as a Senior IT Consultant at Avanade, where they played a key role in designing and implementing IT infrastructure.

Darren started their career as an IT Analyst at Accenture, where they managed client engagement networks and AT&T contracts.

Darren Linden has a diverse education history. Darren completed their MBA in Business Administration from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1997, they pursued their BBA in Management Information Systems at Northeastern State University. In 2018, Darren engaged in a Leadership Development Program at Southern Methodist University. Furthermore, they have obtained two certifications: Okta Certified Administrator from Okta in February 2020 and Okta Certified Professional from Okta, Inc. in February 2020.
