Rafael Montoya Mira is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Acquisition Team Leader for Spain at ABO WIND since January 2021, overseeing the acquisition and new projects department. Previously, Rafael held roles as a Senior Project Manager and Project Manager, focusing on the development of photovoltaic and wind power projects. Prior to ABO WIND, Rafael worked as the Engineering and Construction Director at NRG Investment, responsible for the engineering, processing, and execution of renewable energy projects, and held the position of Electrical Engineer Designer. Rafael has a strong academic background, holding a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València, a Master's Degree in Solar and Renewable Energy from Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche, and a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Production from Universitat Politècnica de València.
