Nitin Kumar Purwar currently serves as the Head of Data Engineering and Architecture at UnionBank of the Philippines, leading a tech refresh and migration project to cloud solutions since May 2023. Previously, Nitin held the position of Big Data Specialist at Aboitiz Data Innovation from October 2021, and served as Assistant Vice President at OCBC Bank from May 2019 to October 2021. Nitin has extensive experience in data engineering, having worked as a Senior Data Engineer/Consultant at Standard Chartered Bank and as a Senior Datawarehouse Consultant at OCBC Bank. Nitin began a career in data and software engineering at HCL Technologies as a Software Engineer from July 2010 to May 2016. Nitin holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology.
