Hetal Prajapati

Hetal Prajapati, PhD, serves as the Associate Director of CMC and Formulation R&D at Abon Pharmaceuticals, LLC, since September 2014, where responsibilities include managing the development of long-acting injectables and specialized drug delivery systems, supervising formulation scientists, and directing scale-up and cGMP manufacturing activities. With extensive experience in formulation development and process optimization for complex parenteral dosage forms, Hetal has held positions ranging from Principal Scientist to Senior Formulation Scientist, contributing to tech transfers and the development of injectable drug-device combinations. Previously, Hetal was a Teaching Fellow at St. John's University, educating Pharm D students, and has held research positions focused on lipid-based drug delivery systems. Hetal obtained a PhD in Industrial and Physical Pharmacy and holds an MS in Industrial Pharmacy and a B.Pharm in Pharmacy from St. John's University and L.M. College of Pharmacy, respectively.
