Tenisha Reed is an experienced Human Resources professional with a diverse background in various roles. Currently serving as a Human Resources Business Partner and previously as a Human Resource Advisor at Aboriginal Legal Service since June 2023, Tenisha has demonstrated expertise in government recruitment as a Government Recruitment Specialist at IPA from May 2022 to June 2023. Tenisha further honed leadership skills as a Human Resources Team Leader for the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide between August 2021 and April 2022. Prior experience includes multiple roles at the Attorney-General's Department from January 2016 to August 2021, including Learning and Development Coordinator and Personnel Security Adviser. Tenisha holds a Diploma of Government with a specialization in Human Resources Management from Transformed Training Institute and has completed a Certificate IV in Personnel Vetting from Australian Forensic Services, as well as a Certificate IV in Government from Canberra Institute of Technology.

Born out of a protest movement, we are the primary legal service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in NSW and the ACT. We deliver free, culturally appropriate legal and wraparound advice, representation, information and referrals for thousands of people each year. We are recognised nationally for our strong advocacy and law reform work.
