Evan Williams

Evan Williams has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Evan currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at both Render and Abound, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, Evan served as a Member of the Board of Trustees at REDRESS, an NGO focusing on legal claims for survivors of torture, from November 2021 onwards.

Before joining REDRESS, Evan worked as the Head of Strategic FP&A at Blippar, a technology company specializing in augmented reality, from November 2020 to October 2022. Evan also served as the Commercial Director at Vanquis Bank from September 2018 to November 2020.

At Barclays, Evan held several roles including Head of FP&A Private Bank from September 2017 to September 2018 and FD Strategy and Change from April 2015 to August 2017. Prior to Barclays, they worked at Barclaycard as Head of Analytics from October 2013 to March 2015 and as Head of Finance for Small Business Sales and Strategic Investment from November 2011 to September 2013.

Earlier in their career, Evan worked at United Business Media as the Divisional Financial Controller responsible for UBM Conferences from August 2010 to October 2011. Evan also gained experience at BT, serving as a Commercial Finance Manager from September 2008 to July 2010, Financial Controller from September 2007 to August 2008, and Finance Analyst from September 2006 to August 2007.

Evan's earliest recorded work experience was at Morgan Stanley, where they worked as a Hedge Fund Account Executive from December 2005 to July 2006.

Evan Williams pursued their education in a chronological order. From 2007 to 2009, they attended BPP Professional Education, where they completed a degree in Accountancy. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2005, Evan studied at the University of Bath, earning an MSc degree in Chemistry.
