Alejandra Garcia, CPA has diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Alejandra recently joined Above Food in October 2021 as the Controller, overseeing financial operations. In October 2022, they were promoted to the role of Director of Finance. Prior to that, they worked at Virtus Group, Chartered Professional Accountants & Business Advisors LLP. Alejandra started their career there as a Staff Accountant in September 2015 and was promoted to Senior Accountant in September 2017. In September 2020, they further advanced to the role of Manager. Alejandra's earliest work experience was at the University of Regina Students Union, where they served as The Owl - Bar Supervisor from November 2011 to June 2015.

Alejandra Garcia, CPA, obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting from the University of Regina, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued their professional education at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada), though the specific degree and field of study during this period remain undisclosed.
