Jeremy Peterson

Jeremy Peterson is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various technical roles. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at Above Lending since July 2022, Jeremy is leading the migration of applications to Rails while enhancing system design and security. Prior to this, Jeremy was a Backend Staff Engineer at Balto and held multiple positions at NCSA Next College Student Athlete from October 2011 to April 2022, progressing from Software Developer to Principal Developer and Development Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing developer happiness and leading technical projects. Earlier in a career that began as an Application Developer at Crossway, Jeremy has consistently demonstrated expertise in software development, team leadership, and mentorship. Jeremy holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Saint Xavier University.
