Ben Browne

Ben Browne is a consultant at Above, providing expertise on leveraging datasets for new business opportunities since July 2024, while also serving as the founder of Stealth Mode, a venture focused on prototyping technology in the home energy sector. Previously, Ben held the position of Lead Data Scientist at kWh Analytics from 2017 to 2024, where management and mentorship of a data science team occurred, alongside significant contributions to model development. Earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Characterization Scientist at Philips Lumileds, a Solar Cell Modeling and Optimization Engineer at JDSU, and a Post-Doc researcher at Imperial College London. Ben holds a PhD in Multi-Junction Quantum Well Solar Cells from Imperial College London and multiple degrees in Physics from the University of Cambridge.
