Bill Barhydt is the CEO of Abra, a digital wallet app that allows users to buy, sell, store, and invest in cryptocurrencies. Bill is also a board advisor for Eseye, a leading provider of global, enterprise grade, cellular IOT solutions, and an advisor for Boost VC, a venture capital firm that provides mentoring and guidance to angel stage companies.

Previously, Bill was the president, CEO, and founder of Boom Financial, Inc., a mobile banking service for underserved communities in the United States and Latin America that was acquired by Digicel in 2016. Bill also built significant partnerships and relationships with 7-Eleven, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Shazam, Blackstone, Blackhawk, i2c, Cardtronics, WOCCU, Digicel, Sprint, Verizon, Brightstar, Diconsa (Mexico,) Le Levier Haiti,) US Department of State, and USAID while at Boom Financial.

Bill Barhydt has a certificate in computer science from Stanford University, a certificate in finance and fixed income mathematics from the New York Institute of Finance, and a bachelor's degree in computer science from Stevens Institute of Technology.
