Horacio Genolet

Chief Executive, Latin America at Ogilvy

Horacio Genolet is the current Chief Executive for Latin America at Ogilvy. Horacio has over 20 years of experience in the advertising and communications industry.

Horacio started their career at Telecom Argentina in 1998 as Advertising Manager. In 2001, they moved to Carat where they became the Regional NB Director. In 2003, they joined Ogilvy Mexico as VP of Client Services. Horacio was in charge of developing and implementing 360 communications platforms for Amercian Express, Volvo, Gillette, Coca Cola, and other local brands. In 2006, Horacio was promoted to CEO of Ogilvy & Mather. Horacio held this position until 2008 when they became the COO. In 2011, they left Ogilvy & Mather to join Ogilvy Latinoamerica as CEO. Horacio has been with Ogilvy for Latin America since then.

Horacio Genolet has a Licenciatura in Estudios sobre comunicación y medios from Universidad del Salvador.

Horacio Genolet reports to Devika Bulchandani, Global CEO. They are on a team with David Fox - Chief Executive, Australia, VR Rajesh - Group President, India, and Julianna Richter - Global CEO, PR & Influence.
