Daniel Scherrer

Daniel Scherrer is an experienced professional in software security and architecture, currently serving as a Lecturer in Ethical Hacking at FHGR Fachhochschule Graubünden since February 2024. Prior to this role, Daniel Scherrer has held various senior positions at Abraxas Informatik AG since August 2018, including Chief Software Security Officer, Chief Software Architect & Leiter Software Engineering Services, and Head of Software Architecture. Daniel Scherrer has also gained extensive experience at Namics AG from March 2012 to July 2018, where positions included Skillgroup Lead Sitecore & Senior Software Architect, among others. Earlier in their career, Daniel Scherrer worked at Debrunner Koenig AG as an Applikationsentwickler and began as an Eidg. Informatiker EFZ (Systemtechnik) trainee. Academic credentials include a diploma in Business Data Processing from 2008 to 2011 and a qualification as an Informatiker mit eidg. FZ from GBS Gewerbliches Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum St. Gallen from 2002 to 2006.
