Stefan Schneider

Stefan Schneider is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in storage management and disaster recovery solutions. Currently, Stefan serves as the Lead Engineer Storage at Abraxas Informatik AG since February 2019. Prior to this role, Stefan held positions at Zürcher Kantonalbank as Leiter Storage Engineering and at Helsana in various storage engineering roles, including Fachführung Storage Engineering and Leiter Mainframe & Storage Engineering. Early career experience includes senior consulting roles in disaster recovery at Schlumberger Sema and Guardian IT GmbH, along with management of the Mission Critical Support Center at Sun Microsystems. Stefan holds a diploma in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from ETH Zürich and completed Matura Typus C at Gymnasium Muttenz.
