Iona Pay

Iona Pay is a Strategy & Research Analyst at Abreos Biosciences, focusing on business development in the autoimmune disease therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) space and grant writing for NIH SBIR and EU-funded projects, while also managing an intellectual property portfolio. Iona serves as a Substitute Teaching Artist for the Harmony Project, providing accessible K-12 music education in Los Angeles. Previous experience includes positions as a Teaching Artist at Cornerstone Music Conservatory, where personalized programs for brass students were developed, and as a Market Research Intern at Breakthrough Properties, preparing proposals for life science research facilities. Iona's early career included internships at BioLabs San Diego, supporting lab management and grant writing initiatives related to biotech commercialization and therapeutic research. Iona holds dual bachelor's degrees from UCLA in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics, and in French Horn Performance from the Herb Alpert School of Music.
