Heather Buss

Heather Buss has extensive work experience in financial and risk management. Heather is currently working at Abrigo as the VP, Controller, where they have implemented a formal controls program and established ITGCs for financially relevant systems. Prior to Abrigo, they worked at Farm Credit Bank of Texas as the SOX Compliance Director, responsible for planning, coordinating, and reporting on the SOX program. At Holtzman Partners, they served as a Senior Manager, providing project management and oversight of SOX 404 programs for public companies. In their role at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, they worked as a Senior Manager, focusing on assurance services in the financial services industry. Heather Buss also has experience at Kohl's Department Stores, KPMG, and Andrew Douglas, LLP, where they held various auditing and accounting roles.

Heather Buss attended the Lubar College of Business from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting. Prior to that, in 2002 and 2003, they briefly attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison without completing a degree. Heather Buss also obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in 2009.
