Ben Komar

Ben Komar is a seasoned professional in the naval architecture and marine engineering field with extensive experience in business development, project management, and government services. Currently serving as the Director of Global Government Services at the American Bureau of Shipping since May 2022 and as a Sales Representative for Kodiak Media Group since January 2023, Ben has previously held significant roles including Business Development and Program Management Executive at Insight Technology Solutions, Business Development Executive at Fincantieri Marine Group, and Naval Marine Project Manager at CACI International Inc. Ben's career began with a robust foundation at the U.S. Coast Guard, where various roles culminated in leadership positions overseeing major vessel repair and maintenance projects. Ben holds multiple graduate degrees in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, as well as Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
