Cedric Labuschagne is a seasoned data engineering and analytics professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Data Engineering at the American Bureau of Shipping since April 2024, Cedric specializes in predictive and big data analytics. Prior to this, Cedric held the position of Senior Director of Data & Analytics at 48forty Solutions and was instrumental in team management and advanced analytics initiatives. Cedric's tenure at Microsoft spanned over six years, where roles included WW Azure Cloud & AI Director for Data & AI and Industry Solutions Architect, focusing on predictive analytics and team management. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Data Virtualisation Specialist at JSE and Director of Data and Analytics at Avanade, showcasing a robust background in data virtualization and analytics. Cedric holds a degree from the University of Johannesburg, completed in December 2000.
