Dan Ilteris

Dan Ilteris has extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as Assistant Chief Surveyor at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) since 2006. Dan has held various leadership roles within ABS, including Regional Director of Operations for the Middle East and Africa, Northern Regional Vice President for the Pacific Division, and Principal Surveyor responsible for Sembawang Shipyard. Dan's previous positions include Marine Engineering Officer roles at Sea Star Line, Maersk Line Limited, Maritrans, and General Dynamics American Overseas Marine. Dan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Strategy from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
