Ivan Chernukha

Ivan Chernukha is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience in developing innovative AI solutions and implementing best practices in machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at the American Bureau of Shipping since August 2023, Ivan previously co-founded CHASER, where responsibilities included leading the development of a visual-based drone navigation SDK and defining the AI strategy for the company. At SoftServe, Ivan introduced MLOps practices and achieved significant reductions in training costs and data processing times, while also developing a fully automated platform for virtual machine learning competitions. Ivan's earlier roles included machine learning engineering at Robotics Design Bureau and consulting at Upwork.com, along with internships focused on deep learning initiatives. Ivan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with a major in Data Science from Università di Trento and a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
