Joel Muiruri

Joel Muiruri is an accomplished business manager with extensive experience in both data management and human resources. Currently serving as the Business Manager in the Chief Data Office at Absa Bank Kenya since June 2016, Muiruri coordinates operations and oversees key data programs that enhance strategic decision-making and optimization opportunities. Previously held roles include HR Advisor at Absa Bank, where responsibilities included recruitment and management of employee exits, and a Nostro Accounts Reconciler at Barclays, focusing on account reconciliation and payment processing. Muiruri's career began in logistics at FCM Travel Solutions Kenya, initially serving as a Logistics Coordinator and later as an IT intern. Muiruri holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
