Mumbi Kahindo

Mumbi Kahindo is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in leadership development, talent management, and organizational culture. Currently serving as the Director of People and Culture at Absa Bank Kenya since April 2021, Mumbi previously held roles such as Head of Leadership Development for Absa Group Limited and Head of Leadership, Learning, Talent & Culture at Barclays Kenya. With a strong background in HR business partnering and learning strategy from positions at Deloitte & Touche, Mumbi has successfully driven employee engagement and high-performance cultures throughout a notable career. Mumbi holds an MBA in HR from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Kenyatta University, along with certification from the International Coaching Federation.
