Asya Rumbongo

Asya Rumbongo, CPA (T), currently serves as the Business Assurance Manager - Credit at Absa Group since February 2023. Prior experience includes roles at PwC Tanzania from August 2016 to February 2023, where Asya progressed from Audit Associate to Assistant Manager, gaining substantial audit experience. In addition, volunteer work with Junior Achievement Tanzania occurred from August 2014 to July 2016, focusing on teaching high school students about career choices, work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. Asya also completed a practical trainee position at CRDB Bank Plc. in mid-2015, specializing in customer service and personal loan processing. Asya holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Dar es Salaam, earned between 2013 and 2016.
