David Monene

David Monene has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as the Regional Segment Head for Private Wealth Banking in Gauteng and Limpopo at Absa Group since March 2006. Previous roles at Absa include Regional Segment Head for Private Wealth Banking in the Western and Eastern Cape, Regional Head Coverage overseeing Business Banking and SME business, Area Manager Coverage for various banking sectors, and Branch Manager responsible for building and leading high-performing teams. David also contributed as a Board Member at the Department of Health South Africa from January 2019 to November 2022. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Milpark Business School, a Capability Development Program certificate from DaVinci Institute, and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Tshwane University of Technology.
