Edwin Rakgotho

Edwin Rakgotho is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial control and accounting. Currently serving as a Senior Finance Business Partner at Absa Group since December 2017, Edwin previously held the position of Senior Cluster Specialist: Accounting Control. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Internal Financial Controller at Standard Bank Group from March 2016 to November 2017. Edwin’s career began at EY, where a trajectory from Assistant Manager to Assurance Senior Manager spanned over five years, which included a two-year rotation in Atlanta. Edwin holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Sciences from the University of Pretoria, completed between 2004 and 2007.
