Eric Luk

Eric Luk is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in leading product engineering and IT consulting roles, currently serving as Lead Product Engineer in Cash Management at Absa Group since July 2018. Key achievements include spearheading the development of significant cash management projects, managing customer value initiatives, and enhancing banking applications. With a background that includes leadership roles at Kabetech (Pty) Ltd as CEO and Executive Director, Eric has successfully delivered multiple IT projects, including resource placement at major banks and overseeing software debugging solutions. Previous experience encompasses senior technical positions at Standard Bank and Commercial Union, with a comprehensive understanding of the system development life cycle and specialized expertise in mainframe systems. Eric holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Information Technology from the University of South Africa and a B.Com. in IT and Commerce from the University of the Witwatersrand.
