Hwalani Mabaso

Hwalani Mabaso serves as the Executive for Everyday Advice & Distribution at Absa Group since September 2022, focusing on the bancassurance strategy and client engagement on a national level. Previously held roles include Provincial General Manager at WOMEN IN TECH, Executive Board Member and Head of Client Coverage Gauteng at Standard Bank Group, and various leadership positions in organizations such as Nedbank, Old Mutual South Africa, and Liberty Life Insurance. Hwalani has been an active Senator at the World Business Angels Investment Forum and has extensive educational credentials, including a Master’s degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning and Services from Milpark Education, along with degrees in commerce from the University of Pretoria and the University of Cape Town.
