Matome Modiba

Matome Modiba has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Matome worked at Absa Group as a Vice President - Syndication from October 2017 to December 2020. Prior to that, they were an Investment Officer at FMO - Dutch Development Bank from July 2012 to September 2017. Matome also had roles at Standard Bank, where they worked as a Credit Manager and Manager in the Property Finance Africa division from 2008 to 2012. Matome started their career at Standard Bank as a Graduate in 2007. In addition to their corporate experience, Matome co-founded and served as Chairperson of The Professor MCM Modiba Scholarship Fund.

Matome Modiba, CDFA, holds a Master of Commerce degree in Development Finance from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town, which was earned from 2017 to 2018. Prior to this, Matome obtained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Management: Financial Management from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika between 2008 and 2012.
