Nangamso Tladi

Nangamso Tladi is an experienced professional in the field of data risk and control, currently serving as the Head of Data Risk and Control at Absa Group since September 2017, after previously holding the position of Manager: Governance, Policy and MI/Reporting. Responsibilities include overseeing control testing for Credit Risk in the Everyday Banking Portfolio, updating strategy documents, ensuring governance processes are followed for strategy changes, and collaborating with Audit and Compliance to address identified issues. Prior to Absa Group, Nangamso worked at Standard Bank Group as an Analyst from October 2011 to August 2017, supporting VAF Credit and overseeing policy implementations. The career began at Nedbank as a Credit Analyst from August 2008 to September 2011, focusing on data validation and insights for risk and profitability. Nangamso holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from Rhodes University.
